Dr. Stuart Atkins, the creator of the Life Orientations (LIFO) method, Accountability Circles Survey (ACT), and a dear friend to many of us, passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 99.
Dr. Atkins was born on January 14, 1924, and during his long and accomplished career, he made significant contributions to the field of management and leadership. His pioneering work in the development of the LIFO method and ACT has had a profound impact on the industry and has helped countless organizations, teams, and individuals to improve productivity and interpersonal effectiveness both at work and in private life.
Dr. Atkins was a visionary and innovator who brought passion, integrity, and dedication to everything he did and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
We know that many of you had the pleasure of working with Dr. Atkins, and we are sure that his passing will be felt deeply by the LIFO and ACT community as a whole.
